We're on a Mission!

These are our "4 R's!"

REACH

— Connect with the next generation through love experienced with truth, respect and destiny. We will patiently allow students to explore and navigate their own journey.

REDEEM

— Create opportunities for every student to know Christ personally and make Him known to others. As they investigate the outrageous (and amazing) claims of Christ, we will stand ready to lovingly lead them to a relationship with Christ and the elation of being forgiven & restored.

REENGAGE

—  Clear Up misconceptions and hurts about the church and develop practical ways for students to lead it today. We believe in the church and realize that we desperately need today's generation to lead us into a new expression of how it will function in today's culture and beyond. The message is always sacred, but the method is not.

RELEASE

— Commission every student to become the change that they want to see in the world today. Words like calling, ministry and outreach may look different in many ways -- we can't wait to see God's expression of grace lived out through this generation. Selfless service will define us.

** One last clarification from our director's heart:
Revolution Youth is not about people fulfilling my dreams - yikes, no way! Instead, we want to help a new generation discover and live their dreamsThe stage is theirs!

Because YOUth Matter,

Organic Discipleship

Our mission from God is to make disciples. Period.

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

“The church in America is comprised of many converts, but shockingly few disciples.”
George Barna

With this in mind, we have sensed the mandate to ensure that every committed Christian would come to discover and define what it means to be a biblical disciple of Jesus Christ in today’s culture.

The word ‘disciple’ implies much more than its literal meaning of "a learner or a student"; it is a lifetime commitment to the training and teaching of the Master.

Throughout the ages, different Christians have emphasized various marks for being a disciple. However, the most important factors in defining the true marks of a disciple are found in the pages of the New Testament of the Bible. The New Testament offers several marks that should be common to all disciples of Jesus Christ.

“Don't grow a church. Grow disciples. Then those disciples will grow the church.” Mark Batterson

FACT: More than one-half of Nobel prize winners were apprentices to previous Nobel prize winners? Smart people know that we are to learn from others and pass things on to others as well.

Discipling is influencing others with our example.

We learn this lesson from the ministry of Jesus: more time spent with fewer people equals greater lasting impact for God. Christianity is built on relationships. Yes, it’s personal, but it was never meant to be private.

We need to BE a disciple, We need to MAKE disciples and We need disciple best FRIENDS!

This is the mission of Revolution Youth Community. We’re glad you’re here!
